Missions at Blue Ridge

Pray about your gift to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering.  The Week of Prayer for our International Missionaries is on Sunday, December 5-12.  The theme of this year's emphasis is "Are We There Yet?"  There are 6,426 unreached people groups in our world.  The national goal is $175 million.  Offering envelopes and Prayer Guides will be available in the Sunday Bulletins.

  • "Train up your children in the way they should go...".  At Blue Ridge we have a very active Children's Missions ministry.  From Preschoolers through 6th grade, children are provided with knowledge about missionaries' lives and how they are allowed to share about Jesus all around the world.  Many live in dangerous areas and must seek ways to safely provide the salvation plan to the people they live around.

  •  The Blue Ridge Family reaches out to the underprivileged through providing meals, fruit baskets, toys and clothing at Christmas, coats to the Homeless, and shoe boxes of gifts through the Samaritan's Purse.  We constantly seek to reach others for Jesus.

  • Our Women of Faith group provides mission opportunities for our church family.  They teach Missions to children and host a Taste Around the World dinner each December during the Lottie Moon International Missions study.

  • Our church van runs each Sunday and Wednesday and provides a ministry to children and youth in our community.

  • Our church family sings the songs of Christmas and delivers Christmas stockings to the Homebound and Seniors in our area.  Call the church office at 567-4325 if you know of someone we can add to our list.
