Honoring Bro. John's 32 Years of Service to our Lord at BRBC. He serves selflessly every day of his week at all hours of the day and night, always on call for you and your family. He will always be here for you. Gad called him 32 years ago and he moved his family to this field of service at Blue Ridge Baptist Church. He and Jackie have served in all areas of the church and they serve with joy and thanksgiving! Please let Bro. John know of your appreciation for him as he serves as a good and failthful servant here in his 33rd year.

The history of honoring those ordained by God goes back to biblical times. The Apostle Paul wrote that “elders who direct the affairs of the church well are worthy of double honor, especially those whose work is preaching and teaching” (1 Tim. 5:17). In 1 Thessalonians 5:12–13, he said “those who work hard among you, who care for you in the Lord and who admonish you … hold them in the highest regard in love because of their work.”

In 1992 this idea became known as Pastor Appreciation Month, to honor pastors and religious personnel. In 1994, Focus on the Family chose October as Pastor Appreciation Month for the purpose of church members financially supporting their minister. Pastor Appreciation Day is celebrated the second Sunday in October and Pastor Appreciation Month throughout the month.

Join us as we bring our favorite Sunday Dinner dishes and desserts. Lunch right after Morning Worskip and our Quarterly Business Meeting follows.

Food, Fellowship, Trunk or Treat, Games at every Car Trunk. Big inflatables with Giant Slide, Baseball Air Pitch, Basketball Throw.

Hotdog/Chilli supper and Desserts.

We have plenty of games or you may bring your own. You will be blessed as you bless others! Many families who came to our Movie Night told us they already have or Fall Festival on their family calendar. We have the best, sweetest, loving church family to found anywhere! Thank you,Lord Jesus!

Bring your Family and Friends and join us for our Sweet Creek BBQ lunch after Morning Worship. Our Youth Famiiies bring delicious side dishes and desserts. We appreciate them and YOU for your participation. You may make a donation for your plate and your plates to go. This helps our young people in their activities.

Take Off Pounds Sensibly 

Come join a great group of ladies lead by Bonnie Ryals. 

At TOPS Club, we’re all about connection and support. We offer a simple program that works – since 1948, we’ve been helping people Take Off and Keep Off Pounds Sensibly. Our members help each other physically, mentally and emotionally. It’s weekly check-ins, the accountability you’ve been looking for, and unwavering support – all in an accepting, non-judgmental environment.

We are currently studying Characters of the Bible  Volume Three - The Kings

The people of Israel had come a long way since the days of slavery in Egypt. One of their most revered leaders, Moses, had been appointed by God to bring His people into the promised land. Once there, each of Israel's twelve tribes was given sections of the land to occupy, and the people began life in their new home.  As they grew in numbers they became a Nation and through the prophet Samuel and earthly king was chosen. Join us for an enlightening study "The Kings"
